In the wake of injury, scheduling issues, and technical problems, we will sadly not be able to give you our regularly scheduled panel episode. However, we can give you another Fun Sized dose of off-topic nonsense!
We sit down with Rebecca Friedman — again — for a talk about weird local insurance ads, superhero cartoons starring M.C. Hammer, and forthcoming return of Star Trek to television.
And seriously, don’t bring your ninja weapons on the White House tour, bro.

I am Quite Disappointed that in an episode about Nunchucks, There was not a Single mention of the Greatest weapon in the Universe: “The Nunchuck Gun”. Actually, that raises the question, Would that be allowed in the White house?
Is that a gun that fires nunchucks?
You disappoint me son, Look up “dangeresque” sometime.
Oh, man. I haven’t thought about Strong Bad in years… I just had a flashback.
Speaking of nunchucks in the White House… from ‘Black Dynamite’.

I just wanted to point out that, yes, you can replace Robin Williams in a TV show. Dan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer Simpsons, played Genie in the Aladdin animated TV show.
So, yes, it can be done.
Heh, I’m unfamiliar with Mr. Fonk, but any time the topic of colorful Pacific NW personalities on low-budget local TV commercials comes up, I can’t help but think of the ubiquitous (well, for anyone living in the wider Portland, OR environs) Tom Peterson.
